The Parure is a recently established organization hellbent on eliminating all illithid lifeforms on the Material Plane, such as mind flayers and elder brains.
Created by an amethyst greatwyrm named Ontrix, she also requested the aid of the ancient dragons Miirym and Saryn — emerald and sapphire dragons respectively. Although lead by dragons, humanoid followers and other creatures are welcome to join their cause.
The Parure has 3 main branches, which are the Amethyst Necklace, Emerald Earrings, and the Sapphire Brooch.

Lead by Ontrix herself, the Amethyst Necklace branch is mostly in charge of organizing and relaying messages from one branch to the next, and recruiting more to the organization. The Amethyst Necklace also takes care of those affected by illithid influence… in one way or another, depending on the severity of the situation.
Not many humanoids work in this branch.
Miirym the emerald dragon is in charge of this branch. The branch focuses on finding signs of Far Realm or Underdark influence throughout the Material Plane, from unusual activity to active portals. Most humanoid followers of this branch bear some semblance to Horizon Walker rangers.
In more dire cases, the Emerald Earrings also have to occasionally create temporary portals or shortcuts to the Far Realm, the Astral Plane, or the Underdark to continue an ambush if highly dangerous illithid colonies attempted to escape.
