This band of miscreants traverses the Sword Coast, notorious as an antagonistic force as they ambush caravans, kidnap passersby, and burn buildings — amongst a host of many other things. Survivors of encounters with the Starblight Troupe often claim to have gained more than they lost, with some even saying the members went out of their way to help them. This wildcard ensemble continues to be an enigma for those who remain in the Doomed Forgotten Realms.

Some members of the Starblight Troupe are rumoured to be former members of Candlekeep, though these rumours are hard to confirm with the masquerade masks their members wear.
